Google to launch Android Pay at Google I/O
After acquiring SoftCard this month, Google is charging ahead with more technology to enable mobile payments. Media has been reporting that Google will be announcing a new payments API called Android Pay at its annual Google I/O conference in May. Android Pay will not replace Google Wallet.
